Few people have influenced the music video industry in the UK like Trudy Bellinger.

If you're looking for an iconic female director with a passion for fashion, an innate sense of style and an ability to create a shoot environment that stands head and shoulders above the rest, then look no further.

Trudy's award winning videos highlight her directing strengths in beautifully developed restricted colour palettes, flattering lighting and tight choreography for artists like Dionne Bromfield, Girls Aloud, Katherine Jenkins, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Pixie Lott and Bodyrockers. This in turn has developed naturally into work within the beauty and fashion sector within the commercial industry.

Trudy's first commercial was for Rimmel London through JWT featuring Kate Moss. Subsequent clients include M&S, Dove, Garnier, Olay & Sky TV.

After gaining her Expressive Arts BA, where she specialised in Theatre Arts and Photography, Trudy decided to use the techniques she had developed during studying as a means to make a living, winning acclaim and commissions as a photography/film installation artist.

Naturally, it was no surprise that Trudy became one of the driving forces at the groundbreaking BSB Powerstation, a music television channel, and the progression from that to producing music videos was an organic one.

While producing she was headhunted by the MD of the massive EMI Records Corporation, to head up their Creative and Music Video divisions, where she was in charge of artists visuals and image as well as commissioning the music videos.

This eventually led to her directing; a natural progression partly through demand from artists she worked with.

Having worked on all sides of the business, she has an thorough understanding of all aspects of the market and is great at collaborating.
